What is the difference between the Waco Sports Academy and Championship Speed and Strength?
The Waco Sports Academy consists of four batting/pitching cages, one combination softball/baseball infield, and Championship Speed and Strength. CSS has both sport and age specific programs to develop speed and speed of movement for girls and boys age 10 to 25. CSS also provides general physical fitness programs.
How many times per week can my child work out at CSS?
Up to 4 times per week.
How much are the tokens for the batting cages?
A token is $1.00 and the pitching machines will throw 15 balls.
How much does it cost for a 12 year old to go to Championship Speed and Strength?
The cost for all athletes from 10 years up to 25 is the same.
How Much Does It Cost To Be In Championship Speed And Strength?
$168.00 per month for individual months. $144.00 per month with a three month contract or $406.00 for three months paid up front (a 6% discount).
How old does my child have to be to workout at Championship Speed and strength?
We start girls and boys at age 10.
Do you have to be a member to use the batting cages?
No, you do not. The batting cages are open to the public. You must sign a participant release liability the first time you come in.
How many batting cages do you have?
3 indoor cages | 1 outdoor cage
- Indoor Cage 1: 35 MPH – Softball and Baseball
- Indoor Cage 2: 65 MPH – Baseball
- Indoor Cage 3: 55 MPH – Softball and Baseball
- Outdoor Cage 4: 45 MPH – Baseball
If you don’t play a sport can you still work out?
Yes, you certainly can. We have general physical fitness programs for boys and girls. You can tell us your goals and what you want to accomplish. We will design a program to guide you towards your goals.
